Brookes Paranormal are excited to announce a BRAND NEW Location for our Ghost Hunting Events in 2020 at the eligantly haunted Ashbourne Town Hall in Derbyshire.
Ashbourne Town Hall was built on top of the foundations of an old Derbyshire Pub called The Talbot Inn and was mentioned in Izaak Walton's and Charles Cotton's novel "The Compleat Angler". The building is faced with Ashlar Stone with extravagant decor, typical of the mid-Victorian period. A purpose-built meeting room was first suggested in 1852, and was combined with a proposal to build a Market Hall, the origins of what became the Town Hall. The Town Hall was built roughly in 1861.
Disembodied voices have been heard in the Main Hall and strange bangs have been reported in the Council Chambers. Dark Shadows have also been seen walking throughout the building. A spirit is also reported to be haunting the male toilets in the building. Lastly, a man was accidentally killed just outside the Town Hall when the balance bar of a bell fell on his head killing him instantly; does his spirit wonder the building and grounds and does he know he's dead?
Participate in this unique night of spooky ghost hunting with the Brookes Paranormal team as we attempt to communicate with the ghostly residents of Ashbourne Town Hall.
On the night, you will be taking part in numerous Vigils and a variety of Experiments (both Scientific and Traditional). You will also have full use of some of the best Ghost Hunting Equipment used today, and be informed on how Paranormal Investigators use them to try and communicate with the afterlife.
All payments are safely secured via PayPal.
