Join the Brookes Paranormal Team, as we return back to the haunted Cockliffe Country House this Spooky Season, for a Horrifying EXCLUSIVE Halloween Night that you will never forget. This enchanting 17th Century estate, has seen plenty of happy and sad times in its history, and has been home to many famous visitors, like King Edward VIII and Sir Winston Churchill. But as we learned from our first Ghost Hunt here, there are many ghosts that still haunt Cockliffe Country House.

The history of the property dates back to 1678, where two cottages and a granary were built on this site. One of these cottages was extended in 1725, to create a farm producing Woodcocks for the wealthy local shoots, which is where the name Cockliffe House comes from, along with the surrounding woods.

In the 1900s, the Seeley family bought the farm to further establish their sprawling estate, and also because of its close proximity to Sherwood Manor. It was transformed into a hunting lodge for their visiting guests, with some of their most notable visitors being King Edward VIII and Sir Winston Churchill, during the 1930s and 1940s. Many parties and occasions were celebrated at Cockliffe House during those years, as the Seeley's gained a reputation for being incredibly generous and hedonistic hosts. When the Seeley Estate liquidated in 1948, the house became a private home and later became a Heritage Centre for the public.

In the early 1990s, Cockliffe House became a comercial property again, before being purchases by a married couple in 1995, who converted the premises into a restaurant with rooms available. Currently the House is used for weddings, conferences and other events.

While we don't know exactly who haunts this location since it's only being investigated for the very time by us, the staff who work daily at this House have experienced strange happenings, including the apparition of a little girl, the grey lady, flies being attracted to one particular bedroom, and most recently the shattering of a chandalier, which was hooked on tightly to a beam, before being lifted up and dropped mysteriously.

Participate in this unique night of spooky ghost hunting with the Brookes Paranormal team as we attempt to communicate with the ghostly residents of Cockliffe Country House.

On the night, you will be taking part in numerous Vigils and a variety of Experiments (both Scientific and Traditional). You will also have full use of some of the best Ghost Hunting Equipment used today, and be informed on how Paranormal Investigators use them to try and communicate with the afterlife.
