Paranormal Investigation begins straight afterwards with the Brookes Paranormal team.
Derby has long been renowned for its dark, bloodied past and its ghosts, and is considered to be the most haunted city in England. Join Brookes Paranormal in Derby for a spine-chilling Ghost Hunt experience at two haunted locations, Derby Gaol and Vernon Gate Prison, where crime, imprisonment and execution took place. At the start of this night, we'll be joined by Paranormal Historian Richard Felix, famous for being the Historian on the early seasons of Most Haunted, as well as presenting his Great British Ghosts series and featuring on Forbidden History. Derby Gaol dates back to 1756, and was a place of imprisonment, torture, capital punishment and execution. For years, the front of the Friar Gate gaol was a place of death, where gallows were erected and those found guilty of their crimes were hanged by the neck for all to see. Many were incarcerated in the cold, damp and dark subterranean cells beneath street level, crammed together in the most unpleasant conditions, where sanitation was null and starvation became a disease in itself. But while the horrific emotions and conditions of the past have long since gone, the damned souls of those executed still linger inside the old Derby Gaol. Paranormal activity has been experienced here on several occasions, and ghost sightings are commonly spotted within these stone walls. From spiritual energies evidently detected on equipment, to terrifying shadows, smells and groans breaking the dead of night, are you courageous enough to face your fears in darkness?
